Its a good gesture. HRs of BPO companies treat employees like shit and always side with the management. I worked in a BPO company, my team leader once insulted me for no fault of mine in front of everybody, I complained to the HR and the HR instead of taking action against my team leader, put some false allegations on me due to which I was forced to resign. Hope somebody hears the plight and struggle of BPO employees someday.
Wtf , that hr should get fired right away…. N I would advise employee to sue company right the moment , as per law , in labour act they can’t do this … Although they 3 month salary… Or 3 month notice period
Cost optimization should begin with firing the HR. They are the worthless piece of shit in any organizations.

This will not happen in Future. Really?? Next time, it would be face to face without any telephonic conversation (so that employee couldn”t record). That will be the only difference.
Really true.. this is how HR talks to employees in real. They always raise their voice and try to put you down. Every company Hr’s behavior is the same way ,,Unfortunate
In the MNC pharma companies the head of Marketing or Sales would ask poor performing ( 1st line, or 2nd line or 3rd line Sales Managers) employees either for their performance or for indifferent attitudes to put in papers instantly. I had witnessed one such incident for a first line sales manager’s indifferent attitude he was asked to put in his papers in a regular sales meeting and the victim had completed 9 years of service in the company and was just 8 or 9 months on his promotion as a 1st line manager. In FMCG industry also the situation is quite normal even today- particularly in sales & marketing. So, this is nothing.
This is sad but this is what has been happening in the IT companies for decades. We don’t have any Private trade unions which can deal with this barbarism. Government intervention is Zero in Corporates because Leaders are getting there share. #Shame

Yes justified. Every offer letter has mentioned about the termination procedure and every employee has signed it and excepted the offer.
And the worst creature here is HR they even forget that they are also an employee and they will be terminated in same way. So communicating has some way and this HR is sh_t…
and I feel most of HR attitude is like this.. they think themselves that they own the company.. bsds
I’m never going to apply here in this company though can’t say about other companies as well BUT evidently what’s in front seeing that I am neither going to refer or recommend anyone.
If an employee leaves before completion of contracts company ask them to compensate for the loss/damage done which in actual is never done still employee has to pay but what about when company fires at the eleventh hour. Who’s going to bear those expenses and bills of that employee.
This is sad part. God give that guy a much better job very very soon.
There must be a national labour law to protect the interest of the employee. Come on. At least one month notice period so that employee can find another job.
Hr person is only carrying out the instructions given to them. The promoters / owners are solely responsible. That’s why anand mahindra apologized for whatever happened to the employee.
Here in the US, you are escorted to the door the minute they terminate you. It’s a fact of reality. .unfortunately. Gone are our father’s days when this was few and far between. This is the corporate world
Hr is doing her job neither she used any bad word but still people will talk that old raag of Amir gareeb. Does today employee thinks of companies benefits or if boss in problem if they get a better offer today they leave the company without any hesitation doesn’t it affects the employer.
I dont understand why everybody are going after her to blame. TM should sack the manager for not doing this part right by instructing their team. Who trained her should be sacked. These things happen in all companies, fyi…there is a way to do it and managers are responsible. On the otherside, how come the guy recorded the conversation with HR ? Does he know its coming and set the table for media ? he should have given this recording to managers and top bosses to show the unprofessional way to firing by their HR but he should not post on media just because. There are some ethics as employee that to be followed. Who post confidential matters public doesnot deserve a sympathy…
If this is true…Legal action should be taken against the HR, only firing her out won’t be enough.
And above all why should Mr. Anand Mahindra apologise, yeh unka badappan, but seniors should have complete knowledge of what is going down below with the staff. The company/organization is paying the salaries, and not the HR Department….
I am an HR and all I can say is that lady requires to be terminated asap for spoiling the name of Genuine HRs across. Shes acting like a smart ass bitch! What kind of termination happens on call firstly ??? It’s disgusting such a reputed brand hires such lame ass people who instead of supporting the employees in such scenarios ..create more nuisances. An HR should remember employees are the pillars of any organisation and shouldn’t suck up to the management. Of course most of the time management makes such ruthless decisions and then hide like cowards behind the HR and that’s why we end up being the face of Cruelty or the bad cop. I faced a similar mass termination. situation I had to handle years back we gave 2 months notice and also the permission to openly go for interviews during their notice as well personally refer them to networks who were hiring.
I hope this guy gets a better job soon
Guys u know every where HR having same attitude… I have 2.8 experience.
So I went for interview and within 2 mint lady HR came and said come after 7dayz ..I feel sad. But what should I do ..so finally after 7 she said come after 7day. I said to her ma’am you told same thing twice to me.
She thought and started to speak…

While waiting outside a haryani boy came there for interview with full haryani extent he been rejected. But he call someone in front of me that he has been rejected…
After 10 mint a same stupid women told to him ..be ready for ops round….
Same thing I was expecting… But with full breakage of heart I came out of the office and luked out to sky and said Allah hu Akbar

First of all Mr. Anand Mahindra should be responsive for forcing these orders on every single employee.
When a person has projects in hand than how come it comes to the part of performance.
Is Mr. Anand Mahindra is good performer who cant give satisfaction to the employees.
